Frequently Asked Questions

What can I access with the different membership plans?

  • All Access Subscription: unlimited access to over 1500 online classes, with NEW classes added each week for only $20/month. Plus, use code SAVE50 and save 50% when you sign up!

How does my membership work?

When you want to take a class, log in to the website, and click on the page you want to go to:

  • For new classes (released on Mondays), head to New.

  • For Pilates, click on All Classes, and then Pilates Classes.

  • Modified barre (perfect for prenatal/postpartum) is located under All Classes, and then the barre page!

  • Short sequences, head to Quickies - then choose Bursts for 5-15 minute classes or 30-Minute classes for those.

You can always go to the Members page to find the link directly to the type of class you want!

You can take classes whenever you want, and repeat them as often as you want, completely on your own schedule.

What props do I need?

Some classes use light weights (2-3 lbs), some medium weights (8-15 lbs), but you can improvise with water bottles or cans, or do them with bodyweight only. Some classes utilize a chair. Some classes use an elastic band, but you can always do the class without a band. Some classes use a yoga block (you can substitute books). Other than that, you just need a mat and yourself!

What if I want to play music while I’m doing a class?

Check out my Spotify!

  • For Pilates, barre, cardio, classes + bursts, this playlist is perfect, as well as Spotify’s Cardio playlist.

  • For yoga classes, just choose almost any of the other playlists for a nice background as you flow. For gentle yoga classes, this playlist is perfect!

How do I sign up?

Just head here, and use code SAVE50 for 50% off your first month!

Can I retake the classes anytime I want?

Yes! With the all access subscription options, you will have access to allll the classes I have ever created! You can retake them as many times as you’d like. Each Monday, the new classes will be moved over to the different class pages and brand new classes will be added to the New Class page.

You can do classes anywhere, any time, wherever you are in the world. Just log in when you want to take a class, do a new one, or repeat a favorite!

What are the different classes like?

Yoga

Yoga Flow classes are always creative, intuitive, and intelligent. They will challenge you - and will provide opportunities to build strength and stretch.

Gentle Yoga classes are a combination of gentle movement, stretches, relaxing postures, and breath.

Pilates

Pilates classes are always a creative and challenging twist on traditional mat Pilates. Focused on moving from the core, but ensuring the total body is challenged.

High Intensity Pilates classes are a combination of Pilates, cardio, and barre. This is a total body workout that adds other elements to a Pilates class to get your heart rate up more than in the “regular” Pilates class.

Pilates Basics classes are designed to move a bit slower and focus on engaging the correct muscles with intention. Still challenging, they’re great if you are new to Pilates or want to focus on fundamentals.

Barre

Barre classes include an intense warm-up sequence focused on legs, use of light weights focused on arms, standing butt and thigh work, and core. These are tough, but also great for beginners.

Prenatal + Postpartum classes are listed under the barre classes. These are safe and effective for any point during your prenatal or postpartum journey.

Cardio

Timed interval classes - usually 3 sets that each contain 4-5 movements (including high intensity cardio as well as strength building moves), with each set repeated 3 times and a minute break in between.

Bursts

Short and intense sequences focused on one muscle group and designed to be done as an add on to classes, or as stand alone when you don’t have much time!

Short + Stretchys

Short, relaxing sequences focused on stretching out a particular part of your body. Designed to be done as an add on to classes, or stand alone when you’re short on time.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To ensure your access to paid features is never interrupted, paid subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your access to classes will end on the last day of the paid-for term. For more information, see the Membership Terms and Conditions.

To cancel your subscription:

Log in to the website, click on Your Account, and then View or Cancel Plans.

How does subscription renewal work?

Subscription fees for the Member Services are all recurring payments (except where identified as otherwise). The term may be monthly, 6-months, or annual, as described in the course the of transaction. Your subscription begins upon payment of a first installment of subscription fees. The subscription renews monthly, every 6-months, or annually as applicable upon the payment of automatically recurring subscription fees. Monthly or annual fees are charged on the same day of the month that the subscription began. (For example, if a monthly subscription began on the 29th, 30th, or 31st day of a month, then membership will renew on the last day of any month that doesn’t have that many days.)

You can cancel your Member Services at any time. If you purchase a subscription to Member Services that automatically renews, you may cancel the subscription any time before the end of the current billing period and the cancellation will take effect on the next billing period, except as otherwise communicated to you by Laura’s Movement Lab. You will retain access to the Member Services from the time you cancel until the start of the next billing period.
